The practical details before checking your fit.

  • No. It suits compatible horizontal-sliding windows. However, fit depends on the opening, frame, support, clearances, drainage, power and access. The kit covers openings 90–145cm high.

    Start with the free Fit Check.

  • Vertical Skinny is the shape of the unit (tall and narrow). Horizontal sliding is how the window opens — the sash moves sideways to create the opening.
  • DIY-friendly where suitable. The kit is included, but the unit weighs 27–29kg and needs safe support. Jaric can offer professional installation at a separate cost if you prefer.
  • Yes. This vertical window air con has been specifically designed for renters in mind.
  • No. It is window-mounted, not a wheeled floor unit. It can be removed and reinstalled in another suitable window, but it is not designed to move casually between rooms.

  • 3.5kW cooling only when summer is the priority. 3.1kW reverse cycle when you also want heating.

  • 54, 50 and 43 dB(A) across high, medium and low. Perceived sound depends on the room and installation.
